Shooting Club Austria
ASKÖ Sportschützen Attnang Vöcklabruck
dynamic shooting, IPSC and Steel Challenge in Upper Austria.
One of Austria’s most active shooting clubs — competitions, training, and a friendly sports community.
About Our Club
We are ASKÖ Sportschützen Vöcklabruck – a young, modern-oriented club with a clear focus on dynamic shooting sports.
Since our foundation, we have placed precision, discipline, and sporting fairness at the center of everything we do. As part of the Austrian grassroots sports association ASKÖ, we promote shooting sports in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment – equally welcoming for beginners and experienced competitive shooters.
Our main emphasis lies on dynamic shooting with handguns and rifles, with particular focus on IPSC (Practical Shooting). In addition, we offer training opportunities for static precision shooting at distances up to 35 m, covering almost all handgun calibers.
Since 2021, the discipline Steel Challenge (USPSA) has also been a permanent part of our training program. In cooperation with partner clubs, our members further develop their skills with sporting semi-automatic rifles (SSLG) and continuously refine their techniques.
Our shooters compete not only throughout Austria but also internationally in Europe and Russia, where they regularly achieve podium finishes.
With regular training sessions and competent guidance from our instructors, even newcomers can quickly find their way into club life and learn the safe and responsible handling of firearms.
